I am thrilled to announce that my new choreographic work a time for loss & a time for ______ will be performed later this month in Somerville! As a guest artist of Natalie Johnson Dance, I will present the piece alongside an evening of NJD repertoire as well as two other guest works. NJD recently relocated to Boston from New York City and I am grateful to be a part of their first performance here!

a time for loss & a time for ______ was developed during January 2019 for National Choreography Month (NACHMO); and is now being expanded further for this upcoming performance. The trio, featuring myself, Katy Esper, and Mary Teuscher, stems from research into contemporary psychological interpretations of the grieving process. Combining this research with our own experiences with grief, we generated a structure that is at once deeply personal and broadly evocative.
